About the Szondi test response of the Japanese juvenile delinquents

-From the test and re-tests results of 200 juvenile delinquents

Duration: about 30 minutes

1) Introduction:
This is a study about Sexual Vector's reactions of Japanese juvenile delinquents. I think, however, the reactions found here were common in Japanese. The reactions ins factors(s-,-!,-!!)h is extremely different from the one's of Europeans.

2) Method and studies subjects:
The Szondi test which we used was the Standard Szondi test, it is not the Japanese parallel version.

We sought for co-operation of an existing juvenile reform center near Tokyo and surveyed juvenile delinquent subjects accommodated there.

Our survey subjects were 200 persons, and sex distinction was male, and we enforced the Szondi test on them 20 times.

We call the first ten times of the Szondi test before profile (BP) and would like to call the second ten times of the Szondi test enforced after profile (AP). I would like to consider the Szondi test reactions of the subjects from comparison of both results of BP and AP.

3) Results:

A) The 3 highest responses in S vector.

h+ s-(34.70%)

h0 s-(16.75%)

h- s-(8.35%)

h+ s-(32.20%)

h0 s-(22.55%)

h- s-(9.05%)

B) Percentage of 4 responses in both h and s factor in both BP and AP.

4) Consideration: Our survey showed little change in personality by doing follow-ups of subjects with the Szondi test.

Subjects which we showed were juvenile delinquents, and I can not deny that results provided from this survey are unbalanced in data. However, combinations of reactions form four vectors shown in the following appeared most from our findings.

P vector

Sch vector

The Szondi test has the possibility to be used across the borders of clinical psychiatry and clinical psychology. I thought that it became more and more necessary for Szondians to understand the Szondi test reactions of different races which differ in cultural backgrounds.

We would be happy if we have the possibility to contribute to the international studies that used the Szondi test that our survey would enforce in the future.
